Formed by a team of graduate entrepreneurs, MARITECH COLLABORATES, a registered partnership firm, sailed to pursue its dream of discovering themselves as a reputed engineering organisation in Calcutta in 1993.

The firm executed different types of engineering assignments for its customers like RPG, Calcutta Port Trust, West Bengal Surface Transport Corporation, etc.

In 1999, the firm finally poised its focus in the field of food processing industry, more specifically, in post-harvest management of fresh fruits and vegetables.

The firm had undertaken various types of field work in the field of post harvest management like Controlled atmosphere technology based storage facilities for scientific and long term preservation of Indian fresh fruits and vegetables.

In order to impart latest and most successful technology in the field of preservation of fresh fruits and vegetables in India, the partners, Mr Biswajit Sarkar and Mr Arnab Roy studied Controlled Atmosphere (CA) technology and its application on Indian tropical fruits and vegetables. After detailed study on CA technology, The partners also had undergone training on construction and operation of new technology based cold storage facilities in Italy, Germany and Holland.

The firm set up their CA technology based cold storage plant in north Bengal in 2008, which was second CA technology based cold storage after ADANI in India.

The firm successfully executed several cold storage projects in Kashmir, HP, Odisha and West Bengal.

With more than 20 years of experience in the field of cold storage the firm provides all kinds of technical support in construction and operation of cold storage facilities in India.
